Under several international treaties airlines are liable for the personal injury and damage resulting from death after aviation accidents, regardless that is at fault. Only if the airline can prove that it is not to blame, can the damages be maximised. The tour operator or aircraft manufacture may be liable as well.
Beer advocaten's aviation team specialises in air crashes. Where necessary, we work together with specialised law firms abroad.
In aviation accidents claims must be filed with the airline within two years or the right of action will lapse.

Our firm has counselled victims and surviving relatives in aviation accidents in the Amsterdam Bijlmer district, in Faro (Portugal) and Phuket (Thailand).
