Pre-litigation advice

Perhaps the extrajudicial route (the phase in which parties try to reach agreement) does not proceed smoothly, or comes to a standstill even. At some point representatives, together with the victims, will have to consider the alternative: to litigate. In that situation, victims and their representatives can feel the need for pre-litigation advice to assess their chances of success, before deciding whether to hand over their case to a lawyer. Beer advocaten has ample experience with litigation, from the ordinary courts up to the Supreme Court. That means we are in the position to assess the feasibility of standpoints on legal issues or the extent of the loss. What’s more: it is not uncommon for insurers to change their minds because of Beer advocaten’s pre-litigation advice. That way litigation can be avoided.
