‘The law is not equally accessible to everyone: those with money and power are often in a stronger position than those who lack those resources. Drawing on my background in the social sciences, I take a critical look at the social and economic relationships underlying the law. Who is protected, who sets the rules, and who is left out of the picture? With this investigative perspective, I want to contribute to a legal system that reduces power imbalances and also works for people who are up against a more powerful party.’
