'As a personal injury victim or survivor, there is a lot that comes at you. My goal is to unburden clients as much as possible, so they can focus on their recovery and/or reshaping their lives after a major event. My primary concern is obtaining just compensation. I achieve this through negotiations or legal proceedings.

In addition, I help clients arrange certain practical and financial matters that make their lives easier. I believe it is important to listen carefully to my clients' needs and I am empathetic, but also realistic.'

Does the right to log data also apply to next of kin?

If medical error is suspected, the next of kin often want to access medical information and sometimes logging data from a patient's record. Logging data shows who viewed and changed the record at what time. But what is the legal situation? Who has the right to access this logging data? In this blog, I discuss these questions using legislation and case law.

What people with (souped-up) e-bikes need to know

More and more often I see people riding around on electric bikes. It is no longer the elderly who need just that extra bit of encouragement during their ride through the woods to keep it fun. No, against all expectations the electric bicycle has become hip and it is mainly young people who whizz past me. I understand, because fast is chill, but the risks involved are not.
