Mildred Brun has registered the area of law 'personal injury law' in the register of areas of law of the Dutch Bar Association.
By virtue of this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits in each registered principal area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Two weeks old was the youngest child when a juvenile nurse deemed that mother should cut off all contact with father. Mother was no longer allowed to open the door for father. Should she do so, the children could possibly be placed out of the home.
Some 2.5 million Dutch people have legal expenses insurance. The basic premise for many legal aid insurers is that an insured will be helped by one of the dozens of jurists or lawyers employed by the legal aid insurer.
In the past year, I have had family members face me in several cases who had lost their loved one, aunt, father, sister or daughter. In a number of cases, the circumstances under which someone died were so severe that a loved one also suffered mental injury. In some cases, shock damages can then be claimed.
