Beer advocaten specializes in liability law and personal injury and represents only victims and their surviving relatives. We are committed to improving the legal standing of victims, both in individual cases and in class-action lawsuits that affect many people. Our office is located in the heart of Amsterdam’s 9 Straatjes district.

  • Experienced personal injury attorney

    For our personal injury practice, we are looking for an experienced attorney who works meticulously, takes responsibility, and is motivated by helping victims. It is important that you can demonstrate your ability to understand complex information, communicate clearly, and advocate vigorously for your clients’ interests. We prefer a lawyer who has completed the Grotius Personal Injury program.

    You'll be a great fit for us if you:

    • carefully analyze and organize legal files;
    • can translate medical, financial, and technical information into legal arguments;
    • communicates clearly with clients and is realistic about what is legally feasible;
    • negotiate in a goal-oriented manner;
    • works independently and takes responsibility for the progress of your projects;
    • have a good command of at least Dutch and English.

    We’re interested in hearing about what you’ve done and learned in real-world situations. In your application essay, for example, describe a situation or experience that demonstrates how you analyze problems, take responsibility, or explain a complex concept in a way that’s easy to understand.

  • Experienced Mass Torts Attorney

    For our mass tort practice, we are looking for an attorney with approximately five years of relevant work experience, preferably as a litigator. Even if you gained that experience in a different area of law—for example, in commercial practice—and are ready for work where the results have a direct impact on the people involved, this position might be a good fit for you.

    You'll be a great fit for us if you:

    • have extensive litigation experience, preferably in WAMCA or WCAM proceedings;
    • can resolve complex legal and factual issues and quickly get to the heart of the matter;
    • can develop legal strategies and clearly support your arguments;
    • keeps track of various sub-questions and takes responsibility;
    • can work well with others on a project team;
    • have a good command of at least Dutch and English.

  • Student internship

    During the student internship, you will rotate fully into our practice. You will conduct legal and factual research and contribute to memoranda. You will also attend meetings, mediations and hearings whenever possible. You will have a regular supervisor for feedback and questions, and will work with several lawyers.

    We focus mainly on students in the final stage of their studies, from the third year of the bachelor. In principle, a student internship lasts six months, for two days per week. In consultation, adjustments are possible.
